Q: What is Check-in Check Out Times?

A: Check- in and check-out times: For all tent and RV sites, check-in and check-out time is 2pm. For Camping Cabins and Lunker Lodge, check-in is 2pm and check-out is 11am.

Q: Can we check in After the office Closes?

A: After hours check-in procedure: Any tent and RV site guests expected to arrive on a date that don't make it in during office hours will have a reservation sheet and map left on the office door for them and can come check-in when the office reopens in the morning. Guests that have Camping Cabin or Lunker Lodge reservations should call to make arrangements prior to the office closing.  

Q: What is your cancelation policy?

A: If you are not able to make your reservation dates, please call us 2 weeks before the dates to avoid charges.  If with in the two weeks, you will be charged a one night fee plus tax.

Q: Our plans changed, can we get a refund?
A: All payments and deposits are NON-REFUNDABLE.

Q: Can we bring our dogs?
A: Pets are allowed in RVs only, no pets in tents, pop-ups, cabins, on the beach, in the lake, or in any of the buildings. Pets cannot be left unattended outside or caged outside, leashes are required, and YOU MUST CLEAN UP AFTER THEM.  We have two pet walks, one is fenced in for your dog to play but must not be left unattended, with a child or aggressive to others in play area.  Aggressive dogs or violation to any of our pet rules, you will be asked to leave immediately. 

Q: Do you have a dump station?

A: Our Dump station is free for guests and $20 for non-guests.  Please stop in the office for more information and location.

Q: We have a large group, do you have an area for us to meet?

A: We have a picnic shelter that is free for guests that reserve it ahead of time.  A fee is charged per person on holiday weekends for any non guests.

Q: Do you have on site laundry?

A: We have two laundry facilities located in the bath house buildings. Quarters are available in the office.

Q: Do you offer WI-FI or cable?
A: Yes, we offer Free wireless internet for all guest.  It is open access and no password needed.  Please be aware on busy weekends, internet may be slow.  We do not offer cable.

Q: Can we bring our own firewood?

A: Outside firewood is only allowed if it's tagged by the DNR. Bundles are available to purchase for $5.75 +tax.  Please remember that Anoka county does not allow the transfer of firewood that is not DNR tagged.  If found with non DNR firewood, you will be asked to remove it from the park.

Q: Can we bring sparklers?

A: No. Fireworks, firecrackers or explosives of any kind are not allowed, this includes sparklers.

Q: Are Golf Carts allowed?
A: For insurance reasons, all motorized bikes, golf carts, scooters, and ATVs are not allowed. 

Q: We are in a full hook up and do not have a fire pit.  Is there one we can use?

A: We have two community fire pits located on either end of the Campground for guests that have Full hookup sites to use.

Q: Can you fish and boat on Ham Lake?
A: Ham Lake is 193 acres with a depth of 22 feet at it's center. Fish in Ham lake include Large mouth bass, Northern pike, Crappies, Sunfish, Perch, and Bullheads. We have a dock dedicated to fishing, guests can bring your own boat and tie it to our boat dock, or rent one of our non-motorized fishing boats or canoes. The boat launch is located outside of the Campground at the Ham Lake Park located at 1843 153rd Ave NE, Ham Lake, MN.

Q: Weapons?

A: Weapons of any kind are not allowed, this includes BB guns.

Q: Can I make reservations online?

A: No. Reservations are made by phone at 763-434-5337. You must be 21 and have a valid Government Issued ID to make a reservation, the person registering must stay here the duration of the reservation.

Q: Our friends/family would like to visit us during the day?

A:  Guest are allowed, a $3 per person per day fee is  charged on Holiday weekends.  NO PETS with guests.
